Delinquent Real Estate taxes remaining
unpaid for three years are subject to foreclosure action,
putting the property in jeopardy of being sold at auction.
This information is made available on-line at the time of
a tax sale. To be added to the Treasury's
next tax sale notification list, please email the Treasury
at dtreasury@ellisco.net and you will be added to the notification
list. Those on this list are notified of upcoming sales and
a list of the properties including in the sale is made available
on the internet.
Real Estate
Prior to current year's delinquent Real
Estate taxes being sold at tax sale, they must be published
in the official county newspaper* as designated by the Board
of County Commissioners for three consecutive weeks prior
to the first Tuesday of September as per the provisions of
K.S.A. 79-2301 to 79-2323a. For the latest complete publication

Personal Property
Personal Property taxes remaining unpaid October 1 of the
year following the current tax year are published for three
consecutive weeks in October in the official county newspaper*,
as designated by the Board of County Commissioners and
in accordance with K.S.A. 19-547. For the latest complete
