ACH payments are withdrawals from either a taxpayer’s checking or savings account and are offered without a service fee for tax payments only.  First half or full tax payments are transferred on December 20th with the second half transferred on May 10th.  Proof of payments appear on the taxpayers monthly bank statement or if requested, on a receipt generated by the Treasury.  The application for this service may be obtained by writing to the Ellis County Treasurer, P.O.
